I made a new community that might help us to select restaurants... It's called gafoodcritics :) http://www.livejournal.com/community/gafoodcritics/ Sorry if promoting isn't allowed. I checked in the info. :)

Uptown Cafe
117 Perry Street
Lawrenceville, Ga 30045
770 995 0805

Restaurant's Name: Uptown Cafe
Date Visited: January 4th, 2006
Guests in Party: 3
Attire Required: Any, very casual
Describe the Atmosphere: Very cozy. It's a small restaurant, definitely not enough seating for a large party, but perfect for a romantic date.
Describe the Service: Extremely friendly and helpful. The Greek owners, A man, Sam, his wife, Jyme, and his father not only do the cooking, but also wait on you. Jyme is incredible sweet and has a great way of helping you choose something you'll enjoy.
What you Ordered: The Kufta Kabob sandwich on nan bread with salad.
Rate the Cuisine: The food was excellent. The salad was even exquisite. The nan bread was so light and went perfectly with the Kufta Kabob filling. It was delicious as well as quite filling.
Rate the Overall Experience: The three of us really enjoyed ourselves, sipping tea with mint and slowly devouring our meals. The lighting was low and we were very comfortable. The whole menu looked excellent and can't wait to return.
